Here at LiverpoolSU we employ around 120 members of staff, in both full-time positions and part-time student staff positions, for students to work earn money and gain experience alongside their studies. We recruit people to work across a wide range of departments; Student Voice, in our Community department, in our Advice Centre, in our retail outlets, in our Student Development & Activities team, as Campus Reps, the Digital Marketing Team, Reception and much more. We also employ student placement staff who work full time within LiverpoolSU for a year, either taking a year out from their studies or once they have graduated.
Community Reps - September 2017 Recruitment
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, outgoing and reliable Community Rep to represent students in their area. As a Community Rep, you will be responsible for going out in pairs or threes to call on houses and halls of residence in your area, speaking to both student and non-student residents finding out about any issues or problems. You will also be calling on these properties to introduce yourself and provide advice on a range of services such bin collection days, noise pollution, events, and how to reduce noise in residential areas.
Community Reps act as ambassadors for the Students’ Union and are our presence in areas which are heavily populated with student residents. Part of this means promoting services we have on offer at LiverpoolSU to students, such as housing advice as well as information on any trips, clubs and societies.
Hours - Casual (on average 5 hours per week).
Rate of pay - £8.45 per hour (plus holiday allowance).
Closing date - 31st March 2017 at 5pm.
