Looprevil Radio

Looprevil Radio is LJMU and LSU's student led radio station.

We have 60 contributors working across 30+ shows, which pull in upwards of 80 listeners at a time (massive numbers for student radio!). We were nominated for Best New Society in 2010/2011 and plan to be your best society in 2011/2012. We work to give students a platform to showcase their talents, whether as a budding DJ, producer or journalist, as well as offering behind the scenes opportunities with the technical and web teams.

Your usual day for meetings/events:
Monday, 6pm for all. Monday, 7pm for music team and news team, separately.

What you have planned this year?
This year Looprevil Radio will be building on the huge successes of last year, by reaching a bigger audience, bringing you more music and a wider variety of shows throughout the week.

We currently run all sorts of broadcasts, from new music review shows to sports chat to the infamous Pre-Med dance music show on a Wednesday night, as well as having our own dedicated news team bringing you the latest news and views from around campus and the city.

We are currently building a bigger and better website so are looking for graphic designers and web boffs as well as welcoming DJs, presenters, journalists and people for the technical and logistics teams.
