Liverpool John Moores Lacrosse Team

LJMU Lacrosse was a new sports club in the academic year 2010/11 open to all students at any level of ability. We focus primarily on playing as a team and enriching the university experience through participating in a sports and social events.

We train weekly and will be playing in the BUCS league on a regular basis, coached by one of the best young players in the country, who recently represented England on tour in America. Where possible we will be arranging friendly matches to enable us to support LJMU at VARSITY, a bi-annual university derby event, one of the most important matches of the year!

Although we take the sport seriously we equally like to party... That is half the fun of a university sports team, and will meet weekly (wednesday nights) at the union for drinking games, team banter and madness before the bar crawl to Revolution and MEDICATION Liverpool's number one student night out... With team drinks offers (some even free) and some of the most epic memories of our university careers.

This year, in addition to our weekly often themed socials in colourful fancy dress, we will be participating in fundraising events, LSU activities and joint team and society socials.We will be looking for involvement from our team members with the opportunity to be part of the club management team and community giving projects!
