Welcome to the Architecture Society
We are a society for people interested in Architecture and the Built Environment to meet, share ideas and get to know each other. We organise formal lectures and social events, culminating in the end of year Architecture Ball. We are a relatively new society open to new ideas and evolving with new members and ideas. We plan to arrange talks from Local practising Architects on the work they do and experiences they've gained also more chances to integrate with the other year groups for their added experience.
We have worked in conjunction with the student union to generate an Architectural Starter Pack for students starting this Septemeber, it includes practically all the equipment you’ll require at a discount rate, the combined starter pack and the drawing board will allow you to enjoy your first weeks and not worry about hunting for equipment! Look out for it on the LJMU online shop, its ready to order now.
Our meeting base is the Pilgrim Pub a short walk from the Art and Design Campus, we have no specific regular day of meeting but vary it to make it more open to all and strive to organise a monthly social event. This year we have two presidents, just get in touch if you want to know anything!
This is a real opportunity for you to get involved with the university and architectural community within the city to explore , create and develop your skills.
